What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Advisor, Contract Management you will review, analyze, and assist in negotiating channel, OEM and alliances sales agreements and supporting transactional arrangements, provide guidance on compliance, and assist on partner program requirements and a broad range of legal and contractual issues.
Draft / assist in negotiating contracts to enable channel sales transactions and in negotiating OEM customer contracts
Draft and assist in negotiating contracts for the sale of information technology products and services to system integrators, cloud service providers, outsourcers (including managed service and professional service engagements)
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance and Marketing to support the goals of the Channel, OEM and Alliances sales team and mitigate both business and legal risk
Advise and support the business on partner escalations and unique areas of risk
Assist with compliance and regulatory matters applicable to partners, including competition laws, distribution requirements, data privacy, and technology export restrictions
Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years relevant experience; or equivalent experience
Experienced sales contracts manager with expertise in domestic and global sales contract negotiations, transactional, and/or in-house corporate legal experience
Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully negotiating large, complex deals
Requires detailed knowledge of commercial contracts terms
Experience in drafting and negotiating a technology related commercial agreements, intellectual property, software licensing, and commercial contracts laws and issues
Experience in drafting and negotiating as a service (aaS) sales agreement
Experience supporting reseller / distributor sales transactions, international business practices, regulations, and competition laws
