Provide full oversight of staff personnel, facilities management, human resources, information technology, contracts management, and financial resource planning. May act on behalf of the Dean/Associate Dean in their absence in matters related to staffing and building management.
Organizes and oversees searches, hiring, evaluation, and other personnel actions. Develops and implements recruitment initiatives in support of filling open faculty and staff positions, including advertising and use of other recruitment strategies. Works actively in support of the Dean, associate deans and department chairs in personnel issues, changes, and actions. Prepares regular reports in addition to as requested and required. Supervises and oversees daily operations of receptionist, contracts team, clinical compliance nurse, IT support team, finance team, and indirectly all staff. Maintains relationships with University administrators for facilities management, human resources, information technology, contracts management, financial resource planning, and staffing. Monitor's use of the CONHI buildings, coordinates space planning with faculty and other senior managers, and recommends improvements, as necessary. Ensures compliance with University policies. Develops and routinely reviews and updates as needed policies for areas of responsibility. Responsible for oversight of intranet site to facilitate access and proper security and handling of administrative records i.e., nonstudent records. Internal Control:In collaboration with the Leadership Team and Dean's Council, share in the responsibility for the design, execution, and effectiveness of a system of internal controls which provide reasonable assurance that department operations are effective and efficient, department assets are safeguarded, and the department complies with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
Master's, MBA or Health Care Administration degree. Two (2) years of supervisory experience or the equivalent experience.
