The primary responsibility of the Business Transfer Consultant is to assist with the successful transfer of an experienced financial professional's book of business to Equitable Advisors.
This role requires excellent communication and client management skills in order to maintain positive client relations during the transition. The Business Transfer Consultant will be responsible for coordinating and prioritizing project tasks, managing timelines and communicating status to managers and recently hired experienced advisors. This position will be responsible for managing multiple projects at one time.
Responsibilities: * Perform deep due diligence review on an incoming advisors existing practice and book of business * Assist with Product Mapping and consult with LPL, Equitable Network, and Equitable Advisors Broker Dealer operations team * Assist in the development of product/asset transition plans. * Set timeline expectations with EXP Producer/Team and manage timeline accordingly. * Determine what account data can be provided and in what format (excel, etc.) and develop plan to migration available data. * Train incoming advisors/Team support staff on Clientworks and initiate account pre-population. * On-Boarding/Integration requires support pre and post contract. * Effectively review applications to ensure all requirements on IGO and ready for transfer * Maintain accurate report of accounts/assets transferred versus anticipated transfers.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Knowledge of collaborative techniques and approaches; ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and working together across functions to solve business problems and meet business goals.
Knowledge of Product Line: Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for specific products; ability to develop product line processes and strategies.
Relationship Building: Knowledge of the importance of creating positive relationships within the team and ability to develop trusting relationships by valuing others' concerns and contributions.
Other Qualifications: * Prior Experience with transitioning advisors book of business a plus, but not required * Strong project management experience * Excellent organization and time management skills * FINRA Series 6 or Series 7 required (Series 24 preferred) * Experience w/ Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Power point, MS Project * Experience w/ broker dealer account management systems such as Clientworks #LI-Remote
