Performs tasks related to the planning, organizing, and supervising the delivery of co-curricular and extra-curricular programs that support the campus community and provides opportunities for students' leadership, civic engagement, and over all student development.1.Collaborate with students, staff and faculty to plan, organize, promote, supervise and evaluate Student Engagement programs, events, and activities to meet the needs of students at assigned campus or campuses. 2.Recruit, advise, and offer administrative support to the Campus Activities Board (CAB) through meetings, events, organizational communication, one-on-one conferences, team building sessions, and leadership retreats. 3.Assist in the establishment and advisement of student club/organizations/groups, facilitates annual student group?s orientations, and provides support and guidance for groups to request Student Government Association (SGA) funds during allocation periods. 4.Recruit, Assist and advise with student leadership groups like Student Government Association, Phi Theta Kappa, and others. 5.Contribute to the drafting and writing of protocols, procedures, training manuals and handbooks that ensure that student and university-recognized organizations and advisors are aware of the university and office rules, regulations and policies. 6.Monitor the assigned budget to ensure fiscal accountability. 7.Manage facilities and equipment request assigned to the department. 8.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, community resources, vendors and non-profit other agencies in the course of for Student Life and Civic Engagement activities. 9.Serves as the main contact for their assigned campus/student clubs/organizations and groups in following departmental and college guidelines, receives and approves student group paperwork related to annual registration, travel, fundraising, events, and financial transactions. 10.Design and implement various workshops and seminars on leadership development, and team building, and other student development focused areas. 11.Contribute to the Student Life newsletter,annual report, provide accurate information concerning activities/events dates, times and locations that may be presented in a variety of formats (i.e., fliers, social media, website, Central Piedmont Today, etc.) 12.Plans, prioritizes, assigns, supervises and reviews work of assigned part-time employees work study students. 13.Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of increasingly responsible programming experience in the area of co-curricular or extra-curricular activities, valid driver's license in North Carolina or South Carolina
Preferred Qualifications: Master?s Degree from an accredited institution in Student Development or Counseling
