Ameriprise Financial has an exciting opportunity for Senior Field Compensation Analyst role! The Recruiting and Field Leader Compensation Operations Team is responsible for the service and administration of Experienced Advisor Recruiting transition offer letter components (including upfront and long-term incentive compensation programs), field leader and recruiter compensation and additional programs which support advisor recruitment and growth. This position will primarily focus on service support and administration for advisor programs on the EAR Award Administration portion of the team. Additional tasks could include special program administration, operational improvement, projects, training, support and quality review activities across advisor, leader and recruiter compensation programs.
Measure incentive opportunities and coordinate recruiting loan components (payments, monthly administrative tasks, reporting, cross organizational collaboration, program analysis).
Designated shared mailbox ownership over questions from advisors/leaders on trans-compensation packages, administration, payment options and tax consequences (problem resolution, ownership of follow-up and escalating issues where needed).
Collaborate on solutions to problems specifically related to recruiting loans or offers, tracking mechanisms, and processes. Identify and recommend changes to policies, procedures and business model that best meets internal / external client objectives. Administrative program oversight (multiple programs). Project support and process development. Along with creation and maintenance of process documentation.
Audit and quality review functions (offer entry, award measurement, payment processing, advisor termination/collections, special processing). Oversee Advisor, business partner service, and critical issues (includes compensation governance). Identify, develop, and implement operational improvements. Complex program administration / issue identification and resolution (bankruptcy, leave of absence, GAF, graduated loan refinance).
Providing cross-departmental program coordination (EAR Recruiting, Field Leader Compensation, Accounting). Including, team member feedback, training and development support. Partner with technical analysts on automation, data-mining and analysis.
??? Bachelors degree or equivalent (4 years) ??? 3-5 years of relevant experience ??? Strong attention to detail; ability to manage and deliver accurate results on periodic processes ??? Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills ??? Demonstrated ability to apply technical skill / aptitude to address business challenges including identifying and implementing efficiencies using Excel / Access ??? Capacity to plan and manage multiple and competing priorities / deadlines in a highly dynamic team environment ??? Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts both verbally and in writing ??? Ability to build strong cross organizational relationships to coordinate complex processes ??? Ability to build strong relationships with advisors, field leaders and business partners ???
