The Academic Advisor provides assistance with daily operations at the regional campus, recruits prospective students, assists students with admissions and enrollment processes, and serves in an academic advisory role.
Serve as an academic advisor for prospective students to provide quality academic advising services, as well as accurate degree program curriculum planning.
Serve as an academic advisor for students enrolled in the Integrated Studies program and all other regional campus and distance learning programs to provide quality advising and academic services.
Implement and/or assist with various recruitment campaigns.
Collaborate with the local community college partner staff to recruit and provide a seamless transition for new transfer students.
Attend recruitment events and activities to promote enrollment growth.
Assist students with admissions, enrollment, financial aid, scholarship information provide guidance to students regarding other university related issues.
Assist with maintaining social media posts for the regional campus.
Assist with regional campus student organization activities.
Assist with day-to-day operations.
Assist with videoconferencing classroom activities as needed.
Other duties as assigned by the Regional Campus Director or Executive Director of Center for Adult and Regional Education.
Minimum Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:
Effective communication skills.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Experience working with the public.
