As the Prevention Specialist & Survivor Advocate you will assist with the coordination of sexual violence and relationship violence prevention efforts across the campus community. You will provide in-depth training for a team of approximately 10-12 violence prevention educator student employees and will supervise student-led programming efforts, including workshops, events, and campaigns. You will also offer confidential support for Brandeis undergraduate and graduate students who have been impacted by sexual violence, dating & domestic violence, and stalking.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and facilitate ongoing professional development to a team of approximately a dozen undergraduate and graduate violence prevention peer educators.
Provide immediate, confidential short-term support for students who have been impacted by sexual assault, dating & domestic violence, and stalking to address concerns related to emotional well-being, physical safety, and academic performance.
Assess the quality, accuracy, and appropriateness of proposed student-led prevention programs and content in materials created for distribution.
Assist with programming designed to raise awareness about the dynamics of sexual violence, dating & domestic violence, and stalking, as well resources available to students.
Establish successful working relationships with campus partners, including but not limited to: the Office of Equal Opportunity, the Brandeis Counseling Center, Academic Services, the Dean of Students, and peer-led support resources.
Assist with the collection, evaluation and communication of data related to prevention programming and campaigns.
Engage in ongoing professional development and skill-building.
Current certification as a rape crisis counselor in Massachusetts preferred, or willingness to attend equivalent training in Massachusetts within 6 months of hire date.
Multilingual proficiency preferred.
