The Assistant Director of Event Experiences is responsible for managing logistics and daily management of Baylor's visit program and visit experiences in order to meet the enrollment goals set forth by the Baylor Board of Regents. Events for prospective students that fall under the purview of this position include Premiere, Baylor Bound Days, Discover Baylor events, Shadow Days and Kaleidoscope.
A Bachelor's degree, two years of relevant experience, and an active Christian faith are required. Five years of relevant experience are preferred. Experience will not be accepted in lieu of the educational requirement. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Coordinate visit events for prospective students including but not limited to: Premiere, Baylor Bound Days, Discover Baylor events, Shadow Days and Kaleidoscope.
Serve as the liaison to academic units for and coordinator of all Scholarship Program events including but not limited to: Baylor2Baylor Med, Law & Seminary, Invitation to Excellence, Getterman Scholars and Distinguished Scholars Days.
Provide backup coverage for all campus visit experiences including the logistics and operations of al visit programs.
Survey, evaluate & analyze event results in order to maximize enrollment yield outcomes for the incoming freshmen and transfer classes.
Creation and execution of recruitment events and conferences involving off campus partners (i.e. high school counselors, professional groups, donors, VIPs, etc.)
Work with Marketing & Operations teams to cultivate invitation lists and populations to include in event preparation and strategy along with creation of content for invitations.
Oversight of the Campus Experience & Event Team calendar.
Assist in supervising student staff of trained reps and team of event student workers.
