POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing technical assistance using mentoring and teaching strategies to improve classroom quality. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assesses classroom teachers using the Teaching Strategies Fidelity Tool and CLASS observation tool three times a year with intentional coaching throughout the year. Uses informal observation and other tools as needed to gain insight into all areas of strength and challenges for the teachers and reviews results to develop individualized mentoring plans for identified teachers which include both the domains and the dimensions. Builds effective working relationships with teaching staff to support the coach/mentor relationship and engages teachers in reflection and planning to
