Christ School seeks an enthusiastic, committed Math teacher to join its faculty in August 2026. Teachers in Christ School’s Math Department must be passionate about their discipline and excited about sharing that enthusiasm with young men. In addition, they must be ready to juggle the diverse duties associated with life on a busy residential campus.
In collaboration with colleagues, this Math teacher will:
Teach four sections in the school’s Math curriculum based on enrollment and the candidate’s area of expertise (primarily Prealgebra through Precalculus).
Design engaging learning experiences that meet students’ needs and emphasize real-world application, innovation, and ethical use of technology.
Create a structured, positive learning environment for all students that is clearly aligned with the school’s mission.
Investigate innovative teaching methods, materials, and technology for use in the classroom.
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
Additional Athletic/Afternoon and Residential Life responsibilities will vary based on the candidate’s experience and interests, as well as the school’s needs. Candidates should be prepared to take on a combination of the following:
Coaching sports teams (JV/Varsity) or leading Outdoor Programs (biking, hiking, climbing, etc.).
Supervising a dormitory, either as a resident or an adjunct faculty member, weekly.
Monitoring evening study hall, weekly.
Providing transportation and supervision for weekend activities, five-week rotation.
Mentoring a small group of students through an advising program.
Facilitating bi-weekly Modern Life Skills activities.

Qualification Requirements:
Sincere interest in educating, encouraging, and inspiring boys, Grades 8 through 12
A BA in Math or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant experience, preferred
Proficiency in the use of technology in the classroom
The ability to communicate clearly and proactively with students, parents, and colleagues
A demonstrated desire to learn and implement new teaching methods
