Advantage College Planning is a growing college planning business headquartered in Raleigh, NC. Our office in Apex, NC is hiring a full-time and a part-time college planning consultant, and we encourage you to submit a cover letter and resume if you’re interested in joining our team!

Recently recognized by our local Chamber of Commerce as “Employer of the Year,” Advantage College Planning provides expert guidance to parents and students through the college planning process that leads to successful outcomes. We define our success as working to make the process as stress-free as possible (even having some fun!) and finding colleges that fit our students: academically, socially, and financially.
How do we do this?
We meet with students in-person, one-on-one, and we get to know them really well. By visiting colleges, doing research, attending conferences, and learning from our team, we make strong recommendations on student’s college lists. Parents enjoy working with us, because it allows them to take a step back and enjoy the time with their student, rather than being the project manager.

Who are we?
Advantage College Planning coaches high school students through the college planning process to ensure each student's success. We define our success as working to make the process as stress-free as possible (even having some fun!) and finding colleges that fit our students: academically, socially, and financially.
Our ultimate goal is to see our students survive the college planning process (while keeping the relationship with their parents intact), go off to a college that fits, and graduate in a timely fashion. Although acceptance into the Ivy League is exciting, it's certainly not how we define our success.
How do we do this?
We get to know our students really well and learn what makes them tick. We meet with them one-on-one, make good recommendations on colleges to consider (by heavily researching and visiting schools), and walk students through each step of the process.
We enjoy being the neutral third party students listen to and trust and enable parents to take a step back from being the nag. We take pride in the relationships we build with both students and parents, and it shows in the result of our work.
