Position Title: Senior Associate Dean of Graduate Admission

Description:

• Manages a portfolio of select graduate programs, serving as the primary admissions contact and overseeing all related recruitment and admissions activities.
• Supervises a team of four graduate recruiters, including setting priorities, assigning projects, and supporting team development through regular check-ins.
• Reviews and verifies admission decisions submitted by faculty committees to ensure accuracy and compliance with institutional policies.
• Interprets and analyzes detailed reports to regularly provide enrollment projections to leadership and inform strategy.
• Collaborates with faculty and campus partners to understand program needs and support enrollment goals.
• Designs and implements innovative strategies to attract, engage, and enroll a diverse and highly qualified pool of graduate students.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of university policies, application systems, and industry best practices to inform decision-making and improve operations.
• Represents the university at events, conferences, and meetings as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Three to five years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, alumni, and external partners.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree preferred.
• Three to five years of recruitment experience within higher education; preference given to those with prior experience in graduate admission.
• Experience supervising full-time administrators.
• Familiarity with database management and admissions-specific software is a plus.
