Position Summary: Rutgers University-Newark (RU-N), an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise, is seeking a Sr Financial Aid Counselor. Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Financial Aid, is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of applications for financial assistance. This involves the strict application of all federal, state, and institutional regulations, policies and procedures used to implement them. This employee also reviews and verifies documents and maintains appropriate and computer and paper files. Upon finding discrepancies in any information received, this employee initiates follow ups to ensure accurate awarding and clear audit trail.This position is responsible
