The Semel Institute is seeking to hire a part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join the KidsConnect Autism Treatment Program for our Neuropsychiatric Hospital. You will work with patients of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Intellectual Disorders, and other illnesses that would benefit from behavioral interventions. Primary duties include:
Perform detailed assessments
Treatment planning
Teaching/behavioral modification
Educating and training families and caregivers regarding individualized behavioral treatment plans and strategies
Providing individual meetings and/or education groups for generalization and application of treatment to the home, school, and other environments
Facilitate transition of care to community resources
Please note: This is a limited position that may convert to career
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or other behavioral health field
Advanced degree in behavioral health field (preferred)
