Job Description A Student Success Advisor (SSA) uses a developmental philosophy and holistic approach to help students reach their educational, professional, and personal goals.  Wentworth Institute of Technology is building a shared advising model designed to foster student success.  Students will explore their goals and work with a Student Success Advisor on the creation and implementation of a success map.  Using the success map, SSAs guide students through assessing their needs, determining appropriate steps, and utilizing resources as they identify and work towards reaching these goals.    A Student Success Advisor is a key member of a student’s success network which includes faculty advisor-mentors, CO-OPS
