Job Duties: This is for a 12-month, non-faculty at-will position.50% Academic and Personal Counseling:Provide academic and personal counseling, mental health crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and consultations in individual and group formats. The academic counselor serves all declared undergraduate and graduate nursing majors enrolled in classes online or face-to-face. Psycho-educational programs and academic services will focus on improving the student's stress and anxiety management, test-taking and study skills, interpersonal relationships, and overall academic and personal development to promote student support, engagement, retention, and success. In addition, the academic counselor may provide referrals to campus and community resources.
