Job DescriptionSt. Cloud State University is seeking applications for potential adjunct instructors who qualify to teach graduate courses in the Counselor Education programs in the College of Health and Wellness Professions â“ Department of Behavioral Health and Counseling.Individuals interested in being considered for part-time, on campus or online adjunct teaching positions in theBHCOdepartment should have the following required qualificationsThis adjunct position will remain open for 1 year to allow departmentsâ™ access to candidate pools when there is a need to hire an adjunct to teach a course(s) during defined academic semester(s).Compensation is per credit, the current credit rate is a minimum of $1819 per credit.Minimum QualificationsMasterâ™s Degree from aCACREPorCOREaccredited program in one of the following: Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, or closely related fieldEvidence of relevant certifications/licensure in the counseling specialty areaEvidence of previous teaching in a higher educational setting and/or counseling experienceEvidence of the ability to work with persons from diverse backgrounds and of a commitment that fits the department mission of social justicePreferred QualificationPh.D. or Ed.
