The successful Director of Recruitment is an energetic and focused individual who will lead a team to recruit and enroll traditional undergraduate students on the campus of Olivet Nazarene University. The Director of Recruitment will provide leadership, coaching, and essential training for Freshmen and Admissions Counselors. The Director of Recruitment will be responsible for creating, communicating and updating an overall, well-rounded recruitment strategy for the Freshmen Admissions Counselor team.
The Director of Recruitment reports directly to the Executive Director of Traditional Enrollment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Director of Recruitment will regularly and successfully complete the following:
Achieve undergraduate enrollment goals for incoming Freshmen.
Serve on the Admissions Leadership Team, collaborating with other directors and teams to align recruitment efforts with institutional goals.
Assists the Executive Director of Traditional Enrollment in developing a strategic month-by-month plan for Freshman recruitment, identifying the shifting priorities and necessary tasks of the recruitment cycle.
Contribute to marketing strategy and brand identity by providing insight into messaging, recruitment materials, and prospective student engagement.
Foster and maintain an excellent team culture, ensuring high morale, accountability, and a shared commitment to enrollment success.
Assigned all Admissions Counselors their geographic area of study for recruitment.
Build and implement a strategy for outbound college fair travel.
Train all new Admissions Counselors.
Coach, lead and assess Admissions Counselors individually throughout the recruitment cycle.
Provide best practices, mentorship, and leadership to Freshmen Admissions Counselors.
