The Assistant Learning Specialists will be a critical member within the Strategic Learning Team to assist in the design and implementation of academic support plans for student-athletes. This position will work in collaboration with the Athletic Academic Advisors and the student-athletes. This is an eleven-month commitment with an opportunity for renewal. Academic Support (50%) Design and implement individualized education plans for student-athletes with specific learning or academic challenges and/or differences Work one-on-one with student-athletes to build fundamental academic skills using direct instruction methods and appropriate learning strategies Collaborate with advisors to design and implement academic success plans for NCAA metrics Serve
