Are you a critical thinker who loves an inquiry-based approach to learning? Do you feel called to equip students with the skills and attitudes they need to use scientific thinking for civic and global engagement and environmental stewardship to solve real-world problems? Do you foster, encourage, and value students who are inherently curious about the world?
At Bosque School, we value a student-centered approach to learning and engage students in solving real-world problems. We recognize that when student tasks are grounded in insightful questioning, risk-taking, practicing core skills, and learning from mistakes, students build capacity, resilience, understanding, and mastery in the science classroom and beyond. Moreover, teaching students how to learn, practice, persevere, and work in a collaborative environment gives them the tools needed to succeed in today’s world and tomorrow’s world. Thus, our science department is continually working to refine and implement an outstanding, rigorous, and holistic science curriculum.
