Job Description:

What We're Looking For:
A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of office and customer service experience, preferably in education.
Strong working knowledge of Title IV Federal Student Aid programs and financial aid regulations.
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage sensitive situations tactfully.
Proficiency in systems like PowerFAIDS, Workday, or similar student information systems.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
What You'll Be Doing:
Providing personalized financial counseling to prospective, current, and returning students, ensuring alignment with their academic and funding plans.
Acting as the primary point of contact for financial aid, guiding students through applications, verifications, and resolving account discrepancies.
Managing and analyzing student accounts, including payments, holds, refunds, and collections, while maintaining compliance with federal and institutional policies.
Collaborating with departments such as Enrollment, Admissions, and Student Success to ensure a seamless student experience.
Hosting workshops and orientations to educate students on financial literacy, aid programs, and institutional policies.
Knowledge and experience working with a diverse population is preferred.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of office and customer service experience required.
1-2 years of experience in customer service or education-related.
Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement. In addition, staff agree to live in agreement with PLNU's Community Life Covenant.

Physical Requirements:
The work is primarily sedentary and may require sitting for extended periods of time.
