SAFER, an initiative of Mental Health Colorado, is changing lives for the better by providing continuous, non-congregate sheltering with a continuum of community-based, client-centered, peer-driven services to ensure our participants are able to achieve their potential. SAFER, located in Arapahoe County, provides shelter and housing support with wrap-around services designed for individuals who are unhoused, living with serious mental health and often co-occurring substance use conditions, and are experiencing or at risk of justice system involvement.
