The Senior Admissions Officer demonstrates a high level of admissions expertise, world-class customer service, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills for our highest-level advising packages. This position manages all forms of day-to-day inquiries from assigned premium members, including all aspects of the admissions process beginning as early as freshman year in high school. The Senior Admissions Officer uses his/her excellent communication & problem-solving skills to resolve common roadblocks that our clients may encounter, to help steer them towards success with their applications process, while remaining committed to helping to meet company revenue goals.

Be a helpful guide from the beginning of a student/parent’s journey with CollegeAdvisor.com, providing value and resources to every family assigned to your caseload.
Connect with families and students on a regular cadence based on our Milestone Model. Engage with teammates to provide coordinated services at specific Milestones.
Assess each step of the admissions process and provide constructive feedback to the student on extracurricular development, college list, application strategy, personal application narrative development and the logistics of completing each application on time and with the strongest presentation possible.
Manage student contact through various platforms, tracking all activity in our portal system as well as keeping the families updated on progress of their student.
You should definitely have:
BA or BS (Masters or PhD, preferred)
5+ Years in Undergraduate Admissions making direct decision on incoming applications
Admissions experience from a Top-20 ranked* institution (*U.S. News College Rankings)
Knowledge of application process at Ivy League and other Top 30 Institutions
Outgoing personality with great energy and an excellent phone/Zoom presence
Strong collaboration and people skills to interact with staff, colleagues, and customers
Goal-oriented with a desire to succeed
Ability to work with digital technology such as Google Suite and video chat tools (e.g. Zoom) to effectively support students in the college counseling process.
Membership to at least one major College Counseling certification group such as NACAC, IECA, or another Bachelor’s degree.
