PGY1 Pharmacy Residency - Ambulatory Care Setting
This residency is designed for flexibility to meet the training needs of the resident and produce a well-rounded, independent ambulatory care practitioner. The program consists of a minimum of 2000 contact hours in a variety of practice settings. All residents have core rotations in primary care (including internal medicine, family medicine), ambulatory care specialties, and acute care. Primary care rotations will be longer in duration (two rotations of 5 weeks and 3 weeks) to allow for continuity of care and development of extended patient relationships. Residents also have orientation, practice management and drug information rotations.
