The Newman School is seeking a full-time English Teacher. Newman School Faculty report directly to the Assistant Head of School and are a member of an educational department. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing the course curriculum, as designed and assigned by the department chair, and meeting the departmental major objectives. In addition to teaching, Newman faculty advise a group of students and contribute to the overall program (clubs, activities, athletics) the equivalent of one out of two terms. The successful candidate will be a passionate educator who is committed to the mission of Newman and displays a sensitivity to and understanding of students with diverse learning styles.
