Job Description: TRIO Talent Search is a free educational program designed to assist first-generation and low-income 6th-12th grade participants in their preparation for enrollment into any college of their choice. The goal of TRIO TS is to increase the likelihood that participants graduate from high school and enroll in college. This goal is accomplished by providing participants with academic, financial, career, and pre-college advising. TRIO Talent Search is looking to hire (2) seasonal tutors who are equipped to support 9th-12th grade students in a variety of subjects. This position will be on-site at either Washington HS or Jefferson HS from 3:00pm-4:00pm, every Monday.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide academic tutoring in Rigorous Secondary School Courses to assigned program participants
Document all contacts with participants on Individual and/or Group Service Logs and turn them into the program advisors
Participate in team meetings every week (virtual/in-person)
Adhere to college and program policies and procedures
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree-Certified Teacher
Preferred Fields of Study: English, Mathematics, Sciences or related STEM field to assist with TS areas
