Job SummaryThe Financial Counselor performs the quality control function for Observation, Inpatient, and Outpatient Surgery accounts ensuring all pertinent information is available and accurately documented for timely and efficient billing. These activities include accurate validation of patient demographics, insurance verification, and determining all sources of funding available to the patient. Collect co-pays/deductibles and resolve outstanding financial issues for all patients prior to discharge.
