The Department of Counseling, Health and Kinesiology at Texas A&M University-San Antonio invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Counselor Education to begin in the Fall of 2025. The position is a full-time, 9-month appointment that requires teaching, scholarly activity, service, and student advisement. Our counseling programs aim to fulfill the needs of an increasingly diverse mental health workforce and the successful candidate should demonstrate a commitment to and success in working in varied communities.The Department offers CACREP-accredited masterâ™s level programs in clinical mental health counseling; marriage, couple, and family counseling; and school counseling. The successful candidate will teach 18 graduate credit
