Genetic Counselor
Job Summary: The Certified Genetic Counselor will be responsible for providing support services for the MFM Geneticist and the women's health multidisciplinary team. They will provide genetic counseling and support to women and families during the prenatal period as well as preconception. They will assess and analyze data to provide individuals and family members with risk factors for specific disorders, syndromes and procedures. The genetic counselor will provide patients with education, treatment plans and reassurance regarding genetic and inherited risks, as well as facilitate and interpret all testing and results. They will facilitate and collaborate between multidisciplinary health care teams to counsel patients on all associated risks,
