Position Information:The mission of the Department of Social Medicine, Population and Public Health is to engage in multidisciplinary education, research, service, and scholarship on the intersections of medicine and society with population and public health. This includes a focus on the social injustices and inequalities that contribute to poor health, the inclusion of oftentimes excluded voices, and the identification of solutions to address systemic change.
The Project Coordinator will support various research initiatives such as overseeing project databases and tracking records for large projects.
Please note: This is a limited-term position with a maximum of 1,000 hours of work allowed. The estimated employment end date is June 30, 2025.
The full salary range for the Project Coordinator is $22.65 - $37.60 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $25.00 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

Requirements: Educational RequirementsBachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.

Key Responsibilities:
Works closely with the assigned Principal Investigator (PI) on project management activities, which may include coordination of large projects, including coordination of campus stakeholders (students, faculty, staff) and community stakeholders. Development, preparation and distribution of project documents and reports such as project timelines and data collection and evaluation instruments. Creation and management of project databases and tracking records. Development and maintenance of regulatory compliance for institutional review board applications. Administrative organization, including the management of multiple campus and community project participants, collaborators, and activities. Tracks project expenses and budgets. Serve as liaison between project leadership, participants, and collaborators. 40%
