HR EMPLOYMENT/CAREERS PART-TIME MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TENNIS INSTRUCTOR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE:
Standard duties expected of all part-time faculty include the performance of instructional, counselor, or librarian duties as assigned; evaluation and assessment of student work; and timely submission of grades. In addition, part-time faculty are expected to participate in the assessment of their performance, including administrative and student evaluations. Part-time faculty may also have opportunities to participate in various campus and staff development activities and are encouraged to be involved in the larger College or District community. Part-time faculty may be eligible to receive additional pay for office hours, additional assignments, and professional development events.
Coach Intercollegiate Men's and Women's Tennis. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide the organization, direction, and administration of both the Men's and Women's Tennis programs.
Perform coaching duties at practices and contests.
Home meet preparation and management.
Schedule contests, arrange transportation, and manage the budget.
Stay current on all Division, District, Conference and Commission on Athletics rules and policies.
Develop an off- season conditioning and strength program that monitors the progress of the student-athletes.
Assist with all DeAnza College Physical Education and Athletic Division fundraising events.
Work effectively with the athletic trainers, academic advisor, equipment manager(s) and others in the Department.

SALARY RANGE: Actual placement is based on applicant's verified education and experience.
