As a member of the Business Career Center team, the Assistant Director will serve as a career advisor to undergraduate and graduate business students and alumni, and coordinate a course within the Professional Enhancement Program (PrEP), a series of four 1-credit hour classes required of all undergraduate business students. This position collaborates with the Associate Director to create, implement, and assess the strategic vision of a specific PrEP course. They will also manage and oversee additional program areas for either students or employers.
The Assistant Director may supervise full-time career coach(es), graduate assistant(s), and/or student interns or peer career coaches. The Assistant Director will coach undergraduate and graduate business students and alumni, with professional and career development plans including exploration of individual interests, strengths, values, business majors, and possible careers. This individual will provide services to diverse populations including first-generation students, students with disabilities, international students, nontraditional students, students of color, students who identify as LGBTQ, student athletes, and military-affiliated students.
Additional responsibilities include planning and presenting career-related programs to classes and student organizations, teaching other Professional Enhancement Program (PrEP) courses, planning and delivering career-related programming for students, employers, and faculty/staff, and building and maintaining relationships with employers.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, education, counseling, student affairs or related field plus two years of career or student services experience that includes career/academic advising or teaching. Curriculum or program development/management experience. Experience must demonstrate public speaking skills and the ability to function in a fast-paced, team oriented environment. Proficiency with word processing, database, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in business, education, counseling, student affairs or related field preferred. Supervisory experience desirable. Proven ability to develop, implement and assess learning objectives and course outcomes is preferred. Proficiency with course management software helpful. Demonstrated knowledge of, experience, or ability to work with diverse college student backgrounds desirable.
