The Assistant Registrar will oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of the class schedule. This includes but is not limited to online rollover of semester classes, working with CGS academic divisions and the CGS deans and director. Additionally, develops, manages, and provides analysis of enrollment projections. Creates and manages other reports as assigned by the CGS deans and director. Manages student records such as transfer credit evaluations and advisor assignments. The Assistant Registrar is also responsible for providing operational leadership for the Student Services Office. This includes developing and managing the systems and procedures of a vibrant student service office as well as overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations.
Provides front line assistance for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Hires, trains, and supervises work study students.
Oversees student records management (UIS/SIS Drop/Add Processing etc.) and academic status management (Dean's List, probation, CGS Program completion review etc.).
Provides administrative support for college events and programs.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree required. 1-3 years of administrative experience.
Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently, prioritize, multi-task, troubleshoot, remain level-headed, handle confidential information appropriately, and communicate effectively with Leadership Team, faculty, staff, students, and internal/external constituents.
MS Office proficiency required and prior experience with university class scheduling is preferred.
