The role of the genetic counselor is to work closely with the medical providers in the evaluation of patients and families at high risk for hereditary cardiovascular conditions. The position participates in both research and teaching objectives and is required to track data and report outcomes accordingly. The position participates and may also be involved in grant-writing and performance improvement initiatives.This position is primarily remote but may be required to be present at the Parnassus campus and Mission Bay campus, including all clinic sites and depending on operational need.
