Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs
INTRODUCTIONUnder the general direction of the Dean, the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs (ADFA) provides visionary leadership to advance the mission of the UConn School of Nursing (SON). The overall purpose of this position is to direct, support and develop SON faculty. The ADFA serves as a member of the School?s leadership team and participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of goals and objectives for the SON consistent with the University?s and School?s missions and policies, serves as an advocate for faculty, colleagues, and other interested parties that promote faculty and student success, retention, and graduation, and facilitates the collection of data on which decisions are made.
