In our Strategy and Transactions (SaT) team we offer advice on all aspects within the transaction cycle and provide support on corporate decision-making.??Transaction Diligence??(TD) is an integrated approach to diligence that enables Strategy and Transactions sub-service lines and competencies to work together more effectively.??Together with our clients, we make well-founded, strategic decisions for businesses.

The team aims to assist clients, both private equity firms and corporate clients, throughout the whole transaction process
Whilst traditional Financial Due Diligence is a key element of the service, transaction diligence is much broader, incorporating assistance with business plan assessment, including support to the transaction management, negotiation and documentation, and post-completion integration.

Your key responsibilities
Perform Financial Due Diligences relating to the sale or acquisition of companies together with a young and dynamic, multi-cultural project team
Help to identify risks and items which should be considered in the purchase price and provide input to the share/asset purchase agreements
Apply state-of-the-art analytics tools in your analysis and have the opportunity to drive the application of further digital solutions within SaT
Collaborate in cross-border, interdisciplinary teams on global transactions and coordinate with external advisors and investors
Gain experiences across different sectors with the opportunity to develop your industry specific profile and to benefit from mobility programs abroad
Contribute to the development of go-to-market activities.

Skills and attributes for success
Completed university degree in Accounting and Finance or in a STEM field
A Chartered Accountant qualification (Swiss CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) or CFA charter
Between two to four years of Transaction Diligence experience and/or FAAS, Audit or other SaT SSLs. A minimum experience of 6 months in a Big4 SaT department is a requirement
Experience of working with international clients including working with multiple accounting standards including IFRS, US GAAP and other local standards
Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English and French, both verbally and in writing, are a must. Additional proficency in either German or Italian is welcomed
International work experience
Knowledge of analytical tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI as well as a high level of Microsoft office skills especially Excel
Leadership experience from working with other advisors such as sell side or buy side advisors, liaising with senior members of the team and supervising junior member of the team
Sharp analytical thinking and exceptional problem-solving skills
Exceptional team player who is able to work with people at all levels in an organization.
