Job Description About the Role
Boston University Admissions seeks a Senior Program Coordinator. This role is responsible for administrative and programmatic support for various areas of BU Admissions including the selection and scholarship processes as well as providing support in the Admissions Reception Center. This role is responsible for providing customer service to various constituencies. The Senior Admissions Coordinator organizes the University's merit-based scholarship programs, athlete application review, and QuestBridge partnership application process. This position will require evening and weekend work during the year, primarily in the winter.
The Senior Admissions Coordinator works closely with administrators within the QuestBridge scholarship program, as well as the programs selection committee. This position also works closely applicants, families, and high school personnel to inform them about the admissions, application, and enrollment processes at Boston University.
The Senior Admissions Coordinator's primary duties include:
Providing administrative support for all scholarship competitions, including the QuestBridge Scholarship Program;
Communicating directly to prospective students and their families, applicants, and high school counselors;
Providing support to our Admissions Reception Center during some times of the year;
Identifying and resolving issues related to the accuracy of freshman and transfer applications during the admissions review process, and;
Maintaining files and data.
