About the Department
The Advising Tools and Assessment team configures and maintains digital tools that support advising practices at the University of Cincinnati.
The Office of Advising and Academic Services (A&AS) is seeking an Assistant Director to work in its Advising Tools and Assessment team. The Assistant Director, working with the Director, will develop reporting, facilitating user management and system engagement, conduct analytics projects, and will work with external partners to identify system improvements. As a member of this team you will have the opportunity to shape a portion of the digital experience for students and advisors at UC.
Develop and maintain data models, automation systems, dashboards, reports and metrics that support key business decisions.
Generate system feedback reports; analyze and interpret data.
Assist with various tasks associated with assessment studies, analysis, and evaluation of academic and non-academic topics.
Communicate and present results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders.
Assist the director with planning and assessment activities; assist in coordinating system testing and review.
May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
Three (3) years of experience with student information and/or student success technologies.
