Xavier University’s Office of Admission invites applications for Regional Recruitment Director. The Regional Recruitment Director is the primary representative of Xavier University in a defined geographic region. The Director will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive recruitment plan for their geographic territory. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: build relationships with key high school counselors; give presentations and meet with families individually; read and make recommendations on applications for admission; provide initial financial aid guidance to prospective students; travel to campus for events such as visit days and open houses (approximately 6 times per year); timely and detailed follow up with prospective students. Perform other duties as assigned. This position requires a high level of independence and self-direction.
Candidates should be located within the general Cleveland, Ohio area.
Qualifications include:
bachelor’s degree
experience working in university admission/enrollment management, sales, customer service, or similar
ability to present effectively in front of a variety of audiences
outgoing personality
strong written and verbal communication skills
valid driver’s license
ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
willingness to work frequent evenings and weekends.
The ideal candidate will have significant university recruitment experience and strong existing relationships within the Cleveland area.
