The Director, Online Student Experience leads the onboarding and support of Davidson-Davie Online program students. This position is responsible for collaborating across campus departments to provide personalized, engaging, and relationship-focused support to online-only students. The Director advises, coaches, and guides online students from enrollment to completion along online pathways that prepare students for continued career and life success. The Director serves as a key leader who champions online access and equity and identifies ways the college can better support each online student. This position reports to the Senior Director, Institutional Effectiveness and Innovation. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities
Leads online learner support initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership
Serves as the initial contact and onboarding navigator for online-only program students to support successful enrollment, completion of orientation, and registration during the onboarding process
Collaborates with enrollment and marketing team to implement successful recruitment plan for online learners
Serves as the academic advisor for Davidson-Davie Online students
Supports students by creating and implementing success plans and provides coaching for online learners throughout their experience at the college
Monitors progress of online learners, implements relevant interventions and supports to promote successful credential completion, and celebrates accomplishments of online learners
Collaborates with research staff to gather, interpret, and analyze data related to online learner success
Analyzes college policies and practices to make recommendations to support and reduce barriers for online learners
Implements accessible technology solutions that facilitate engagement and build community among online learners
Engages in and facilitates campus professional learning on supporting online learners, in collaboration with campus partners, to increase capacity to support online student success
Maintain high level of sensitivity, understanding, and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of varying social, economic, cultural, ideological, and ethnic backgrounds
Support the mission, vision, and values of the College and attends College events and meetings
Performs other duties appropriate to the position that support the strategic direction of the college
