The Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Student Affairs in the College of Social Science will oversee administration of the Student Affairs Office and implement College and University policies and procedures pertaining to undergraduate academic student affairs. The Assistant Dean will provide leadership in advising and help identify and initiate structural changes to advance the strategic vision and teaching mission of the College and University. This position will coordinate academic advising and professional development of the academic advisors in the College of Social Science; coordinate study abroad/away, internships/service learning activities, and career services to enhance the student learning experience within the College. The Assistant Dean will work collaboratively with key Social Science College programs and departments/units, in particular the Director of Student Success, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Affairs, Career Services, Director of Assessment, Experiential Learning.
