This is a 100% Contract position for 1 year with the possibility of extension or conversion to career status.DESCRIPTIONWorking independently under the general supervision of the Assistant Registrar, Enrollment Services, the Athletic Certification Officer determines the athletic academic eligibility of student athletes for competition in the NCAA in collaboration with Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA), Undergraduate Admissions, academic advisors, and a broad set of campus stakeholders. This Athletic Certification Officer is critical to maintaining compliance with NCAA rules and regulations, and requires an in-depth understanding of NCAA Division I rules and regulations, Big West Conference bylaws, and UC San Diego acad
