Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education and two (2) years professional experience in counseling, advising, or a related field. A masters degree in a related field may be substituted for years of experience. Demonstrated experience using a personal computer, office software such as MS Office and electronic mail. Requires a valid Ohio drivers license. Requires a successful completion of a background check. Demonstrated ability to:o Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.o Establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and the public.o Work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.o Interpret degree program requirements and assist students in the achievement of the requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Summary of Duties: The enrollment navigator will manage caseload of new students and serve as the main point of contact from orientation to first semester enrollment with active outreach to inform, guide and engage students to move through the enrollment process. These activities include nurturing student relationships, educating students about career options and program offerings, ensuring receipt of enrollment documents, such as official transcripts, guiding through the enrollment and financial aid process, and coordinating efforts to orient and onboard incoming students. The enrollment navigator will assist and support admission representatives with recruitment events. The enrollment navigator will also work collaboratively with the academic advising team regarding course registration, selective program admissions, certificate and degree planning, and transfer credit review.
Location: Newark
Work Hours: Regularly, 8:00 to 5:00, Monday-Friday.Evenings and weekends are required as necessary.Some travel may be required.
