The Patient Navigator (MA) is a Medical Assistant who will actively assist patients in completing and submitting their disability forms, refill requests, and prior authorizations. This role will also include working collaboratively with the coordinators, surgery schedulers, nursing staff, providers, management and all members of the health care team. Assists multidisciplinary team in managing the care of the patient thru all phases by acting as a liaison between the clinic and referring physicians; assists in managing follow-up care for post-surgical patients by setting up follow up care appointments; and/or coordinating an organized and efficient case flow of clinic scheduling.
