The IT Strategic Sourcing Indirect Procurement team is responsible for developing and executing strategy to source IT indirect goods and services to support our business stakeholders and programs. Perform analysis to select supplier and negotiate best value for Cardinal Health. Provide supplier relationship management and contract compliance management, including maximization of financial deliverables and risk mitigation. May work within various procurement systems to execute purchase orders and resolve technical issues as identified.
This position will have a focus on the IT software category and contract risk management. The Advisor position allows for tactical completion of job tasks related to risk and compliance assessments in support of IT Indirect Procurement contracts team. This will increase the ability of Sourcing Managers to focus strategically and deliver more cost savings to the organization.

Accountabilities
Primary Sourcing business partner supporting IT Risk & Security
Manage IT security exhibit negotiations and track completed IT risk assessments
Initiate, negotiate and finalize new indirect supplier contracts and maintain existing indirect supplier contracts, including IT security terms
Category Sourcing Advisor for assigned indirect categories or projects with a focus on software/hardware/telecom/network
Primary Sourcing business partner support for key stakeholders within assigned indirect categories
Work closely with indirect suppliers to source indirect goods and services
Identifies innovative procurement solutions that provide cost savings and process efficiencies for the organization
Assist with Request for Proposal (RFP) events within assigned indirect categories
Drive purchasing discipline and compliance with internal stakeholders
Review and approve BuyNow purchase requests within assigned categories or projects.
Qualifications
Experience with contract management and administration - preferably in the IT area
Experience with MSA's and data security requirements in particular preferred
Data presentation/tables through Excel, Ariba SAP experience preferred
Project Management experience preferred
2-4 years of experience in indirect procurement or related field preferred
IT software/hardware/telecom/network strategic sourcing experience preferred
Negotiation experience and/or understanding of contractual terminology is preferred
