Position Summary:
The Student Recruiter and Support Specialist for YU Global is responsible for attracting and supporting students down the enrollment funnel to enrollment.
This includes offering information about each program and, at times, preparing presentations to different prospects about the programs.
The person who holds this position must be passionate about the institution, have excellent communication skills, understand the mission and recruitment goals of YU Global, and be able to build relationships with various stakeholders and understand the markets YU Global will target.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies: The student recruiter must develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract potential students. This may involve attending career fairs, giving presentations at high schools, and reaching out to prospective students through social media and other marketing channels and working with enrollment partners.
Build relationships with high schools: The student recruiter must build relationships with high school counselors and administrators, Yeshivas, Seminaries and other sending entities to increase awareness of YUG and to identify prospects.
Provide guidance to prospective students: The student recruiter must provide guidance to prospective students on the admissions process, financial aid, and academic programs.
Review applications: For credit bearing programs, the student recruiter must review applications from prospective students to determine if they meet the admission requirements.
Conduct interviews: The student recruiter may conduct interviews with prospective students to assess their suitability for admission and to answer any questions they may have about the institution.
Attend events: The student recruiter must attend events and activities to represent the institution and to interact with prospective students and their families.
Collaborate with other departments: The student recruiter must collaborate with other departments within the institution, such as admissions, academic affairs, and student affairs, to ensure that the recruitment process is seamless and efficient.
Maintain records: The student recruiter must maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, including the number of inquiries, applications, and enrollments.
Experience & Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree.
3 years experience in student recruitment.
Skills & Competencies:
Must be passionate about the institution, have excellent communication skills, and be able to build relationships with various stakeholders and understand the markets YU Global will target.
Must have experience in recruitment software and record keeping.
Salary Range:
$65,000-77,000
