St. Edmund’s Academy seeks an enthusiastic and dynamic educator to teach 5th-8th grade Spanish and an Upper School elective. This role also serves as a grade-level advisor. In collaboration with the school’s academic leaders, the teacher will be responsible for designing curriculum, planning lessons, mentoring students, and promoting student wellbeing. As the Spanish instructor, the teacher will work closely with the Division Director to ensure alignment of the school’s philosophy in curriculum and practices and ensure students are meeting learning objectives. As the Electives instructor, the teacher will develop and execute a course of academic merit that has been designed around a topic or field that the teacher has great interest and that students would find highly engaging.
