Reports to: Upper School Director    Job Summary CIS is a college-preparatory, independent school with a rich history of science education. The focus of the curriculum is to provide an individualized educational experience for each student. Class sizes are intentionally small in order to facilitate high quality teaching and mentorship. Students begin studying science as a special in the Junior Kindergarten program and continue with science study throughout their education at CIS. Candidates should have an interest in innovative teaching, a desire to build strong working relationships with students, and a commitment to incorporating global perspectives into curriculum. This requires a deep understanding of the
