Job Overview
The Parent and Student Services Advisor provides frontline customer care for all students and their families, aligning with Georgetown's brand and reputation. The PSSA 2 is responsible for communications and forms ensuring social media is managed properly, all communications with students and parents are accurate and complete, and all forms are returned on time meeting all compliance standards for students residing on campus.

Work Interactions
Reporting directly to the Lead Parent and Student Service Advisor, the Parent and Student Service Advisor interacts with both internal and external stakeholders. Internal stakeholders include but are not limited to SCS Marketing, SCS Admissions/Enrollment Management, GOCard/UIS, OGE/OGS, Public Health Team, and SCS Operations. External stakeholders are primarily students and families, but also include partner/network schools, Kaplan University Partners, and other prospective partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or 1-3 years customer service experience in a higher education setting.
Availability and willingness to work in person the hours required for program events, as described below
Preferred qualification
Knowledge of the student lifecycle and student information systems
Work Mode: Hybrid. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University. Such review may necessitate a change to a position's mode of work designation. The Parent and Student Service Advisor may work remotely from September 1st through March 31st, but must be in-person at least two days a week April 1st through August 31st on Main Campus, though additional days may be required to meet programmatic needs at a designated SCS campus location. Additionally, as a member of the Associate Dean's leadership team, they must work some evenings and weekends in an on-call capacity to address emergencies and escalated concerns when programs are in session. Finally, they will attend select program events, such as check-in, closing ceremonies and/or orientations.
