Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in a life science field or a Bachelor's degree from any field plus a combination of two years of life science related college course work or relevant professional life science experience.
• One year of experience in academic advising, or student activities programming, or teaching/counseling of post-secondary individuals, including experience with at least one aspect of leadership, teamwork, organized planning, and problem-solving.
• Experience and demonstrated actions working with and successfully supporting diverse populations coming from historically excluded populations, such as racial and ethnic, gender diverse, minoritized sexual identities, abilities, disability, veteran statuses, and socioeconomic levels.
• Ability to communicate clearly with a diverse group of students and staff through written (electronic and other) and oral communication.
• Ability to maintain confidential, detailed, and accurate student records.
• Skilled in Microsoft Suite (or similar program)
• A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
